Phoenix Players 'It runs in the Family' by Ray Cooney. Dr David Mortimore is a neurologist, at the top of the medical profession. He is about to deliver a conference speech to delegates from around the world which should secure his knighthood among other accolades. As he prepares his speech in the Doctor's Common Room of the hospital he receives a surprise visitor and a past indiscretion, returning to haunt him, has unexpected consequences. Keeping it quiet becomes a big problem involving the hospital Panto, hospital trolleys, a syringe full of tranquilliser, a lively wheelchair patient, a police sergeant, balloons up the jumper and Matron!
