A play by Edmund Rostand and directed by Kate Sutcliffe

The classic tragi-comic storyIn the annals of chivalry and love the name of the larger-than-life Gascon soldier and lover Cyrano de Bergerac stands tall.

Thwarted by his outer lack of grace Cyrano woos Roxanne by proxy through the handsome but mindless Christian, who has drawn her eye, whilst subtly defending her from the unwanted attentions of a noble suitor, his commanding officer the Comte de Guiche.

But as the Gascony Cadets face death in the heat of battle, with Christian’s life on the line, will Cyrano’s secret love be revealed or his hopes for love finally be dashed as the firestorm rages?
