HIAWATHA

An in2theatre production

Based on the epic poem by Henry Longfellow.

By the shores of Gitchee Gumee,

By the shining big sea water,

At the doorway of the wigwam,

Stood and waited Hiawatha.

Our exciting new production tells the story of the Native American Indian – Hiawatha as he is called on to unite all the warring tribes together. The epic poem by Longfellow has inspired a colourful and creative production with live music, fabric and feathers, puppetry and pow wow and the best stomp dance this side of the big wigwam.

A project for actors with disabilities supported by Stratford Town Trust.
