Possible Dreams International Choir

A Swaziland choir telling their own stories though music and dance

A Swaziland choir telling their own stories though music and dance

This remarkable choir is composed of young people from the most remote and rural areas of the Lubombo Mountains of Swaziland, some of them are orphans, some of them HIV positive, and some amputees: all of them are united by a single purpose – Compassion. The young choir ranges in age from 16 to their mid-thirties, they tell their own stories though music and dance.

The choir sings on Wednesday 24 September, first in Holy Trinity Church at one of the church’s regular Wednesday lunch time recitals. Then in the evening when they will perform at the United Reformed Church in Rother Street for an evening concert.

Admission is free to both concerts with tickets available on the door. Holy Trinity’s lunchtime concert is from 1.00-1.30 pm The United Reformed Church performance is from 7.30pm.

There will be an opportunity to listen to the PDI Choir, following their performance with the Nuworks Theatre Company the previous day.

Two concerts by a very special choir that really should not be missed.
