The Importance of Being Earnest

Jack has a very useful fictional wicked brother called Ernest, as well as a very mischievous real friend called Algernon. When Algernon arrives at Jack’s country house claiming to be Ernest, only a handbag and a Governess can provide a solution to the ensuing confusion.

In their first production of 2024, Sweet Sorrow Theatre Company are bringing Oscar Wilde’s delightfully silly comedy from 1895 to life at the Bear Pit Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.
