The Macabre Tales

The Macabre Tales is an original series of short plays paying homage to Rod Serling’s ‘The Twilight Zone’, and in celebration of the show’s 50th anniversary of being off the air. The production consists of four separate plays. Writer Kathryn Bakewell has carefully selected what she feels to be the most memorable and iconic moments from the show and constructed them in her own unique way. Nightmare in 20 Minutes: Two strangers with clashing backgrounds are forced to bond on a plane in a life threatening situation. Hello? Can you Hear Me?: A lonely man attempts to get his family back with a compassionate approach, but the reality of his situation gradually becomes clear to him. We Made it. Don’t be Afraid: Two siblings uncover the mysteries behind the greatest discovery of their career, but things take a turn for the unexpected. Escape: Two people wake up in a mysterious room with no memory of who they are or how they got there. Their story begins to unfold as they attempt to escape.
