Arclight Drama Studio is proud to announce its upcoming production of William Shakespeare’s beloved pastoral comedy ‘As You Like It’, directed by Paul Cullen. This vibrant new interpretation will run for One Night Only at The Bear Pit Theatre, Stratford upon Avon, bringing to life one of Shakespeare’s most joyous and romantic plays with Arclight’s signature creativity and heart.

Set in the enchanting Forest of Arden, ‘As You Like It’ follows Rosalind, one of Shakespeare’s most brilliant heroines, as she flees court, disguises herself as a man, and discovers the freedom to explore love, identity, and self-discovery. Full of wit, music, and mischief, the play captures the boundless possibilities of life outside the confines of convention.

Director Paul Cullen reimagines the Forest of Arden as a world of renewal and transformation — a place where love conquers cynicism, laughter breaks down barriers, and even the melancholy find hope. “This production celebrates the joy of reinvention,” says Cullen. “In Arden, the characters shed the expectations of society and rediscover who they truly are — something that still feels profoundly relevant today.”
