Relatively Speaking

A Bear Pit Theatre Company Production

By Alan Ayckbourn directed by Vanessa Comer

With a delightful tangle of deceit and misunderstanding, a quartet of crafted characters and an agile plot, Relatively Speaking is the theatrical masterpiece that established Alan Ayckbourn’s name as synonymous with theatre. Originally written in 1965, Relatively Speaking was Ayckbourn’s first West End success and he was hailed as the new comic talent to arrive.
Associate Artist, Vanessa Comer returns to The Bear Pit Theatre to direct this 50th anniversary production. Vanessa’s most recent productions for The Bear Pit include, Priestley’s When We Are Married, ‘Allo ‘Allo, and Ayckbourn’s, Season’s Greetings.
