Our adaptation of the charming Russian folk tale ‘The Fool of the World and the Flying Ship’ is kindly supported by Arts Council England.

Peter is a poor boy with a big imagination who dreams of adventure. The Tsar of Russia wants a Flying Ship in exchange for his daughter’s hand in marriage. Along with a positive attitude, a creative spirit and a little help from a magic man, Peter sets off on a quest that will change his world forever. Journey alongside him as he encounters peculiar companions, impossible tasks, a pair of miscreants and a girl who steals his heart.

This is our first full-scale production and we are excited to share this poignant and enchanting tale with audiences of all ages across the country.

We are proud to be working in collaboration with Hugh Purves, puppetry and projection design and fabrication, Jay Rodger, original music and Jude Evans, movement direction.
