Synopsis

Lloyd Dallas is the director of a theatre company.

He is desperately trying to pull his latest production together considerably hampered by cast and crew.

We follow the production from final rehearsals, through opening night and on tour.

As with any group of people forced to work closely together for any length of time, romances and arguments are bound to break out.

Quite often what is happening on stage is nothing compared to what is happening backstage ….

Michael Frayn’s comic masterpiece about a dysfunctional touring company has been hailed as one of the greatest British comedies ever written.
